JORGE ARDON GARCIA
About the founder
Jorge Ardón García is a Salvadoran immigrant, community organizer, and political strategist committed to strengthening civic engagement and uplifting diverse communities. Born in Sonsonate, El Salvador, Jorge immigrated to the United States at the age of 12 and grew up in Vallejo, California. His early experiences navigating a new country sparked a deep interest in public service and advocacy. While still a high school student, he founded GT & Associates, a student-led organization dedicated to connecting families with vital resources, from legal support to advocating for equitable school funding within the Vallejo Unified School District.
In 2018, Jorge moved to Las Vegas to attend the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he further developed his passion for politics and community organizing. During his time at UNLV, he founded the university’s first student-led Political Science Club, a nonpartisan organization designed to teach students how to engage with public policy, civic participation, and the political process. He also served as Vice President of the UNLV Young Democrats, helping organize events and bringing elected officials and national leaders to campus during the 2022 election cycle, including Elizabeth Warren, Cory Booker, and civil rights activist Dolores Huerta, among others. Jorge graduated from UNLV with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a concentration in Latino politics.
Jorge’s advocacy extends beyond Nevada. In 2021, following the femicide of his aunt, Flor García, in El Salvador, he founded Todos Somos Flor (“We Are All Flor”), a platform created to raise awareness about gender-based violence and the disappearance of women across El Salvador. Through this initiative, he has helped amplify calls for justice and supported feminist organizing efforts working to confront systemic violence against women.
Today, Jorge brings experience in grassroots organizing, political consulting, digital communications, and photography. As the founder of Ardón Consulting, a Las Vegas–based firm, he works with candidates, organizations, and community leaders to connect with Nevada’s diverse electorate. His work bridges cultures and communities—helping campaigns build meaningful relationships with voters while also providing strategic communications, event planning, and photography services for families, businesses, and community organizations.
